As a communications and PR consultant, I help a variety of small to medium businesses and not-for-profit organisations – quite often without a dedicated in-house marketing and communications team.
What they do have in common is a business-owner or organisational leader that knows their comms is stuck.
They need help seeing the wood for the trees by developing a strategy and the content support to deliver it.
Sometimes they’re overwhelmed by the possibilities and too time poor to deal with the details.
Maybe they have a rough idea of who their stakeholders and ideal audience are but don’t know the best way to reach them.
They want to understand the bigger picture and then where to focus their resources to reach the right people and build their reputation.
What I’m not
If you’re looking for quick results based on short-term marketing spend, this isn’t the place for you.
I’ve helped clients who have spent money on advertising marketing, like paid-for social ads, without understanding their stakeholders, their ideal audience or their key messages.
Unfortunately, this can be a way to burn through money quickly.
Good communications – the type that gain visibility and build your reputation and credibility – take time, consistency and momentum.
Understandably, this can be frustrating if you’re looking for quick fixes. However, it pays dividends in the long-run as you can feel confident in delivering a strategy that contributes to organisational goals.
For many of my clients, I work with them on a medium to long-term basis.
Firstly, I learn about your business goals and the things you’re struggling with.
Then my job is to explore how communications can help and develop the right strategy.
For this bespoke service, the next step is a discovery call to make sure the services I suggest are right for what you want to achieve.
However, if you already have a good idea of what you want or only need specific support for a particular project, I offer a number of set packages.
Crucially, these cover some of my most popular services and key communications activities.
